RITA UDINA BETWEEN PAPYRUS SCROLL AND PARCHMENTS

Rita Udina lives in Premià de Mar, a village next to the coast which is full of light and energy, where she funded a restoration workshop of graphic work and documents  in 1999. She does her restoration labours of documents, papyrus scroll, parchments and posters and photography. She also imparts training on students around the world: Oman, Qatar, Norway, and Hong Kong...

PASS ON THE RESTORATION’S ART

The artist transmits her students the passion she has for her profession and her implication in every project. So she’s always embracing restoration training.  She believes restoration is an art; therefore, she teaches her students the need to use good tools in order to achieve an optimum and accurate goal.

WHY ESCODA?

“My secret to get an accurate goal on the retouch is the use of the OPTIMO series (made of natural brushes) mixing it with VERSATIL, when working with acrylics. For the big size works and the preparation of starch I use PRADO brushes…”
